The Resort

All Camundos will be staying at Camelback Lodge.

Camunda Check-In will be on the 4th floor reception on arrival day. Your room key will come in the form of a handy wristband.

All rooms feature the same amenities, with varying bed numbers being the only difference. All rooms have private bathrooms, a vanity area, microwave and mini-fridge. They come equipped with towels and bed linen. All rooms are lockable and equipped with a safety box.

Hotel and property quiet hours are between 11pm and 7am. Please keep to these hours. There is Security on site that will deal with any noise complaints.

WIFI: The hotel has two different wifi lines to connect to. ‘Day Guest‘ and ‘Stay Guest’. You can use either but ‘Stay Guest’ is recommended for work that will use up a higher bandwidth.

If you require mobility and hearing-accessible room, please reach out to Elli ([email protected]) and she will allocate you an appropriate room.

Aside from anyone looking to share and those with accessibility needs, People Experience will assign you to an accommodation.

Hotel Services

The resort reception is manned 24/7 for any requirements, as well as security. For any hotel related needs please either go to reception or dial ‘0’ on your room phone.

There will be no housekeeping services during the Retreat. If you require housekeeping or fresh towels, please speak with reception to organize.

You can find washing machines and dryers on the 2nd and 4th floors of the hotel. Use of these are at your own cost.

If you have a serious issue with your room that you believe may require you to move, please reach out to Eve or Nastasja as a first point.

There will be complimentary beach towels at the Aquatopia indoor and Camelbeach outdoor waterpark.

Shops & more!

Camelback Resort has a whole host of shops, cafes, restaurants, vending machines. These may come in handy throughout your stay but please make sure to note any purchases you make are your own and not covered by Camunda.

This includes the Mountain Market, Wave Retail, Cafe & Bar Coffee by La Colombe, all vending machines and many other food and retail establishments. It may however be possible to use your Gift Cards for purchases.

Scroll down to ‘Food & Drink at the resort‘ to see where you’ll be able to grab snacks and drinks, throughout the day, covered by Camunda.

The Poconos mountains provide a wealth of nature and wildlife.

Whilst Camelback is an enclosed resort, wildlife still has the potential to wander onto the property. You may be tempted to approach or feed animals you might come across, but this is highly discouraged by local authorities.

Additionally, we will find ourselves within ‘tick season’ whilst there. Ticks can often be found in grassy or wooded areas so we recommend clothing such as long sleeves, long pants and shoes whilst out in more wooded areas, this will keep ticks from reaching your skin as easily. You can also see a list of suggested packing items HERE. Please note that this is not a full packing list.

Camelback Lodge and Aquatopia Indoor Waterpark is a non-smoking facility. This includes all guest rooms and meeting rooms. Designated smoking areas are located outside of the Lodge.

Other than that, please always make sure to clear up any rubbish anywhere you go.

Food & Drink at the resort

Besides our shared meals (breakfast, lunch & dinner), you will have the option to get something small to eat throughout the day.

The only places you’ll be able to order food and drink items from, outside of meal hours are Trails End Pub & Grille and The Oasis swim-up bar in Aquatopia. Ordering from any other venue will be at your own cost.

Water dispensers will be located all over the resort – we will be supplying you with water bottles to use, so no need to bring your own!

In the US is is standard to add on a service charge. Please note that for all Camunda covered meals, this is covered for you.

Please note that during Camunda meals, all food items will be labeled with any allergens but reach out to Hans (hans.mö[email protected]) if you have any further questions or concerns.

Medical & Safety

For any medical accidents or emergancies, please head to reception or dial ‘0’ from your room phone. If you are unable to do either, you may call or message Eve on Slack or +44 7888 381 873.

As well as basic medical training, Camelback Resort has personnel on team who are trained and certified in mountain rescue procedures (ie. Ski Patrol).  These team members work in partnership with the local hospitals to provide emergency care for anyone in need.
