How to convert Camunda beer into a great customer advocate?

by

Andy Tollschein & Alan Hale

@

Yoga Platform West Harbour

We have seen in the past, that Camunda beer helped turning customers into real advocates, talking about their success with Camunda at different occasions, or waiting with a milestone until they received Camunda’s Escalation Ale. In this workshop we want to tell you some stories where this worked well, but at the same time work with you on future ideas how we can convert other Camunda swag to customer advocacy.

How to (and not to) talk about Tech.

by

Niall Deehan

@

Pavilion

I’ve been designing and conducting technical talks, presentations, and workshops with Camunda for the last few years, and I want to share what I’ve learned.

In the workshops I plan to revisit some of the most terrible tech talks I’ve given and while possible cringing or crying or both, explain some of the lessons I’ve learned to make me a slightly better speaker.

Practice Spinning Poi

by

Nico Korthout

@

Helipad

Get into the flow and practice spinning poi
In this beginner-level poi spinning workshop, it’s all about having fun and learning something new.
Poi is a form of dancing, where weights on the ends of strings are swung through rhythmical patterns. Originated in traditional Maori culture, it has become a world-wide phenomenon through the performance art of fire and LED-poi spinning and an embracement by the juggling community.
We’ll start by making our own poi out of a pair of socks, balloons and some rice. You’ll use these sock poi in the rest of the workshop and of course they’re yours to keep. We’ll practice some basic moves and perhaps even learn a trick to show off your new skills.
Expect to hit yourself a lot, learn something new and most of all, have fun!
See you there and let’s get into the flow!
PS: please bring a pair of long (knee-high) socks
PPS: for questions, feel free to reach out to
