COVID-19 Information

*Disclaimer: This section is based on the knowledge and regulations that are in place in May 2022. The situation may change and if so we will make changes to this section and inform you via Slack #companyretreat2022*

COVID-19 will still be around in June 2022.

This year we will have even more attendees at the Company Retreat and again the Retreat will be a high-risk event.

In order to keep the risk of COVID-19 to a minimum and since this is still a requirement for international travel, the Retreat will run as a ‘vaccinated PLUS tested’ event.

We expect you to take all necessary precautions to keep yourself and your colleagues safe and healthy. Even if it seems like ‘overkill’. We have a very special situation at hand and want to ensure we can all enjoy the Retreat to the max, whilst avoiding any major repercussions to our health.

If at any time you have any questions or additional/changing information, please contact Nastasja ([email protected]) or ask via Slack #companyretreat2022

Camunda Vaccination Requirement

Anyone attending the Retreat – domestic as well as international travellers – must be fully vaccinated, incl. booster shot, in order to attend.

A booster shot is required for everyone whose last vaccination is more than three months ago (e.g. full vaccination any time prior to March 2022). There is no expiry on booster shots (e.g. if you were fully vaccinated incl. booster shot in 2021 that is fine).

Recovery status can only be accepted if an official proof of recovery can be presented. Recovery status is only valid for 3 months after which a booster will be necessary.

If you are medically exempt from getting the vaccine, you must provide a copy of the exemption as well as test daily, whilst at the Retreat.

Nastasja will collect your vaccination status approx. 4 weeks prior to the Retreat, by asking you to either send or show her a copy.

Camunda Testing Requirement

In addition to the vaccination certificate, a negative lateral flow or PCR test must be provided by all attendees. Again this is a requirement for most international travel anyway.

The PCR test mustn’t be older than 72 hrs by the time you arrive at the resort on Monday, 13 June 2022. CAUTION: Different rules apply for international travel (see below).

The lateral flow test mustn’t be older than 48 hrs by the time you arrive at the resort on Monday, 13 June 2022. CAUTION: Different rules apply for international travel (see below).

Tests must come from an official test center. Self-tests or home tests are only accepted if supervised and an official document of the test results is provided.

Camunda covers the costs for tests and expenditure can be reimbursed via the usual channels

You must send or show your test results to Nastasja prior to the Retreat.

US Covid requirements for immigration

Required for all air passengers two years of age or older boarding a flight from a foreign country to the United States:

  • If you plan to travel internationally, you will need to get a COVID-19 viral test (regardless of vaccination status or citizenship) no more than 1 day before you travel by air into the United States. You must show your negative result to the airline before you board your flight.
  • If you are a non-U.S. citizen who is a nonimmigrant (not a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, lawful permanent resident, or traveling to the United States on an immigrant visa), you will need to show proof of being fully vaccinated against COVID-19 before you travel by air to the United States from a foreign country.

Full details here:

We recommend in addition to any app or digital proof, that you carry printouts of all your COVID-19 related documentation with you.

During the Retreat

Nastasja has self-tests available. If you believe you might be experiencing symptoms, ask for a test.

We generally encourage you to test whilst at the Retreat but will not monitor this.

If you receive a positive test result whilst at the Retreat, please contact Nastasja immediately. ([email protected] / Slack: @Nastasja Johnston)

  • You will not be able to travel if you receive a positive test result.
  • You will have to quarantine according to US regulations.
  • We will help you with quarantine accommodation and provisions. This will be fully covered financially by Camunda.
  • Please note that if you catch COVID-19 during any additional FTO, either side of the retreat, Camunda will NOT support any quarantine costs.

If we receive a single positive test result, we will test all attendees.

Please note: People will be able to add a green, amber, or red sticker to their lanyard to indicate what sort of personal space they would like at the retreat, as we are aware that not everyone is comfortable with physical contact after the pandemic and we want you to feel comfortable!

Travel back home

Most countries and airlines no longer require proof of negative tests. Instead proof of vaccination OR  proof of recovery OR a negative test can be supplied.

We will not support you on this. Please familiarize yourself with the entry requirements to your home destination and airline.

If your country is not listed below, please research your destination yourself.

We will NOT set up a Covid test center on 17th June. If you require a test, please contact Nastasja. This is only for those Camundos flying home on 17th June.

Masks

Please use medical masks (also known as FFP2 or N95 masks) during your travels.

Some airports and airlines might not accept any other masks.

During air travel, it is advised to change masks every 4 hours.

The resort follows the state and CDC guidelines regarding masking and encourages all guests to wear a mask regardless of test or vaccination status.

You can reimburse costs for your masks via the usual channels.
